Purpose of job:

The Social Media Executive will be pivotal in enhancing the organisation's online presence and driving engagement with key audiences. This role is responsible for managing and optimising social media platforms, executing call campaigns, and ensuring that the company website remains a dynamic and effective tool for communication and lead generation.

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

Social Media Management:

- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).- Plan and execute call campaigns, including organic and paid lead generation.- Engage with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner.

Website Management:

- Regularly update website content.- Ensure website SEO optimization and troubleshoot technical issues.- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics.

Campaign Analytics:

- Track and report on social media and website metrics.- Analyze data to optimize campaigns and improve results.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team for alignment with broader campaigns.

Coordinate with designers and content creators.

Skills and Knowledge

Core skills

Good knowledge of various digital marketing channels, including paid search, display advertising, social media advertising, email marketing, and affiliate marketing

Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.

Experience with data analysis tools and the ability to use data to optimize campaign performance

Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), marketing automation tools, and CRM systems

Strong project management skills to oversee end-to-end campaign execution, coordinate with multiple teams, and meet deadlines

Experience

At least 1-1.5 years of experience working in performance & digital marketing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in digital marketing is a plus

Good knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices

Proficient in using digital marketing analytics and reporting tools

Good communication and interpersonal skills
