Job Description:

  • Multimedia Stack Expertise
    : Hands-on experience with MM frameworks such as MMF, MM-Audio, MM-Video, and FastCV.
  • Hexagon DSP & FastRPC
    : Proficient in programming or integrating with Hexagon DSP, and understanding of FastRPC communication between apps processor and DSP.
  • GStreamer & OpenMAX (OMX)
    : Familiarity with GStreamer pipelines, custom plugin development, and working with OpenMAX IL components for video processing.
  • Video Codec Knowledge
    : Strong understanding of video compression standards like H.264, H.265/HEVC, VP9, AV1, and hardware offloading techniques.
  • Android Multimedia Framework (AOSP)
    : Exposure to Android HAL, NDK, and MediaCodec API for implementing and debugging video features on Android.
  • Streaming and DRM
    : Working knowledge of adaptive streaming protocols (e.g., HLS, MPEG-DASH) and Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems like Widevine.
