What will you be doing?

Job Description:

Experience: -yrs You would be responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm Works closely with leads, architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle complex business problems

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the UI Lead and UI Manager to ensure adherence to overall strategy Mentor a team of developers just as passionate about UI as you are Partner with our QA team to automate functional testing Develop robust, scalable and maintainable software Design and build new UI workflows that are foundational to the product Work closely with product management to spec out new UI features Maintain and extend existing features using AngularJS Good to have knowledge and experience on Angular +.

Requirements:

Hands-on UI engineering experience building web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular (Mandatory), angular +, and modern JavaScript such as ES+, Superior ability to identify and resolve complex problems. Advanced understanding of JavaScript frameworks. Extensive experience with common front-end development tools. Exposure to Java would be added advantage Must know the build deployment process. Experience working within an Agile and Scrum based development model. Should be well versed with unit testing & debugging techniques, particularly with front-end code. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills and function well in a self-directed, team-oriented environment. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analysis skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Experience in conducting peer code reviews, understanding and enforcing standards Experience with Agile methodology Ability to work independently and collaborate with other team members Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or related experience preferred
