Whom are we looking for?
Treelife is looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer/ Optimizer to join our team You will be majorly responsible for web performance optimization, JavaScript & CSS modification, HTTP request management, database cleanup & plugin optimization. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Improving, designing, and implementing new features and functionality in the current website
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
Achieving a significantly faster WordPress website with improved page load times
Reduce resource usage (JS, CSS, HTTP requests, images) on homepages, top-level pages, and blog templates
Faster backend dashboard experience
Achieve a cleaner WordPress database
Documentation outlining the optimization steps taken and recommendations for future maintenance.
Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
What are the key requirements for the role?
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces for websites
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
