Job Summary : As a Senior Counselor specializing in Overseas Admissions, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process for international educational institutions. Your expertise will contribute to students' successful placement, fostering their educational and career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive counseling to students regarding overseas educational opportunities, admission requirements, and application processes.
Assess and understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and personal aspirations to offer tailored guidance.
Stay updated on international education trends, admission policies, and immigration regulations.
Cultivate relationships with universities and educational partners to enhance placement opportunities for students.
Conduct informational sessions and zoom calls to educate students and parents about study abroad options. Assist in the preparation and submission of admission documents.
Stay informed about scholarship opportunities and financial aid options for international students.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline administrative processes related to admissions counseling.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in admissions counseling for international education.
In-depth knowledge of global education systems, universities, and visa processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
Familiarity with standardized tests (e.g., SAT, IELTS, TOEFL) and their implications in admissions.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficient in using counseling tools, software, and databases.
Knowledge of regional language is must
Telugu for Hyderabad and Kannada for Bangalore
