This position is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional with expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations and lean manufacturing. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to process improvements, production efficiency, and supply chain management.Key Responsibilities:Vendor search and developmentNegotiate with suppliers to optimize material costs and maintain strong, mutually beneficial vendor relationshipsSetting up manufacturing and quality control processes at the contract manufacturer's locationProcurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods for lifestyle productsOversee the implementation of ERP (Odoo) and project management (Jira) systems to elevate visibility and streamline workflowsBusiness Operations - Certifications, pricing, logisticsInventory management - Minimizing stockouts and excess inventoryExecute rapid R&D prototyping to reduce lead times for new component designs, improving agility and speed to marketCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellenceRequirements:Ability to independently navigate challenges using Chat GPTA proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contributeProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)Background in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup
