Data Engineer - ETL with Python, Spark & Hadoop

Responsibilities :

- Organize business needs into ETL/ELT logical models and ensure data structures are designed for flexibility to support scalability of business solutions

- Craft and implement data pipelines utilizing Spark and Python

- Define and deliver reusable components for ETL/ELT framework.

- Define optimal data flow for system integration and data migration

- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures

- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in multiple integration and test environments

- Install, configure and manage automated testing tools in the environment

Qualifications :

- Experienced in Design, Development, and Implementation of large-scale projects in financial industries using Data Warehousing ETL tools(Spark) Experience in creating ETL transformations and jobs using PySpark and automating workflows using Orchestration tools like Airflow, Control-M

- Strong knowledge and experience of SQL, Python and Spark

- Experience with Big Data/distributed frameworks such as Spark, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Hive

- Designing, building, testing, and maintaining data architecture and pipelines

- Collecting, storing, and validating data from multiple sources

- Developing and implementing systems, algorithms, and models for data-driven solutions

- Automating and optimizing data-related tasks and processes

- Ensuring data security, quality, and compliance with policies and legislation

- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, interface with external I internal resources and provide technical leadership to junior team members.

- Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation t0 drive results.

- Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and perform POC to explore best solution for the problem statement.

- Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.

- Perform assigned tasks and production incident independently.
