To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new "Head of Engineering"

Job purpose:Management and control of engineering team(s) and providing guidance on using best practices, engineering methods and tools.

Key Responsibilities:Ensure that the Engineering team has appropriate product and technical specifications and direction as well as resourcesDevelop products effectively and establish realistic estimates for timelinesConstantly seek improvement on the SDLCLead the transformation from TechOps to DevOps – with some KPIs to target releases from monthly to daily/more frequently to tie in with a lean, fast paced, faster deliveryStay up to date with the newest technologies in the marketMonitor team performance and provide leadership and guidance to teamsManage the overall architecture and quality of code

Qualifications:

18+ years of experienceBSc of Engineering or BTech degree preferred10-18 years Java/.Net development experience10–18-year years MS SQL SERVER & T-SQLWorked on fintech related productsExperience with high volume transactional systems advantageousExperienced in open-source technologiesCompetent with general technology, computer hardwareFamiliar with online server infrastructureMust have people management experience, mentorship and growing of team skillsTrack record of delivery and working in CDCI environmentTrack record of delivery and working in cloud environmentTrack record of delivery and working in micro service architectureTrack record of delivery and working with outsourced and local teams, distribute, remote on multiple concurrent projectsOur values guide how we think and act - They describe what we care about the mostC
