Job Purpose:Design, development and testing of 2W EV Electro mechanical parts - OBC& DCDC,VCU,MCU etc.. Supplier sub system Components integration into Vehicle level and DFM.Key Responsibilities:Participation in development project of enclosure and packaging of electronic components like VCU, Charger, BMS, Cluster ( Head Unit) for pure electric and hybrid vehicles concept design to serial productionDevelopment/Support of simulation models in the fields of electrodynamics & electronicsTechnology selection, design and optimization of packaging etc. for electronic ComponentsAnalysis and implementation of customer requirements and standardsCoordination of interfaces PCBA Hardware and vehicle & sourcing teamDefinition of requirements and creation of Mechanical specification sheets for electronic components (SORs)Coordination of technical requirements of packaging & enclosure design for electronic components (create, edit, request, coordinate, tracking of electronic components like VCU, BMS, Charger DCDC Converter requirements)Checking the implementation / feasibility of electronic requirements in the vehicleSupporting and defining electronic components, mechanical testing activitiesSupport evaluation of electronic Components test resultsResearch and evaluation/potential estimation of new technologies for electromagnetic componentsActive participation in team, group and departmental meetings and active support of the electronic Components project leaderCollaboration with system/electronic development, mechanical design, testing, suppliers and scientific institutes.Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringExperience:Ensuring state-of-the-art expertise in the field of electronic components enclosure design, production and electric drive systemVery good knowledge on Sheet Metal, Plastics, sealants, potting materials, connectors etc.,Knowledge to standards (IATF 16949 / APQP / PPAP / TISAX)Methodological knowledge to cope with specialist tasks (FMEA, DoE, Problem solution process 7-Step, etc.)Basic knowledge on Q-Standards (ISO / TS 16949)
