Job Summary:


This critical role supports the successful execution of Industry 4.0 initiatives within the process manufacturing environment. You'll be a key player in the daily operations of the Industry 4.0 Program Office (PO), translating high-level business goals into actionable plans for digital transformation and production optimization.


Responsibilities:


Industry 4.0 Expertise in Manufacturing:


o Possess a strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., Industrial IoT, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing) and their application in batch/continuous production processes (preferred) or other process industry environments.

o Analyze manufacturing processes (preferred is cement) or similar process industry operations to identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and optimization. Develop a thought process for implementing these advancements considering factors like cost-benefit analysis, integration with existing systems, and potential impact on production.

o Stay current on industry trends and best practices in Industry 4.0 implementation for cement manufacturers and similar process industries.


• Program Office Management and Roadmap Execution:


o Collaborate with stakeholders across Manufacturing, IT, and OT to establish the Industry 4.0 Program Office.

o Work with senior leadership to understand the overall business roadmap and value proposition for digitalization in cement manufacturing (preferred) or your relevant process industry.

o Translate high-level business goals into a detailed and actionable digitalization roadmap, outlining key milestones and deliverables specific to cement production processes (preferred) or your relevant process industry.

o Define clear program goals, tasks, authorities, and responsibilities within the PO to ensure successful execution of the roadmap.

o Track progress, identify roadblocks, and proactively develop solutions for a smooth program execution in the cement production environment (preferred) or your relevant process industry.

o Maintain project documentation and ensure effective communication across all levels.


• Agile Project Execution and Reporting:


o Demonstrate experience in managing Industry 4.0 projects for process manufacturing industries using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management is preferred, with a strong focus on Industry 4.0 implementations.

o Effectively utilize Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to create and manage digital initiative boards specific to cement production (preferred) or your relevant process industry (e.g., Kanban boards for production line optimization).

o Track progress on Agile boards, identify roadblocks in production processes (preferred) or your relevant process industry, and update them regularly to reflect project status.

o Prepare clear and concise reports for the Senior Project Manager and other stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and potential challenges related to digital initiatives in the manufacturing industry.

o Break down complex digital initiatives into manageable sprints and adapt plans based on ongoing learnings.

o Facilitate effective collaboration between cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, IT, Engineering) to ensure project success in the cement manufacturing context (preferred) or your relevant process industry.


• Technical Proficiency:


o Digital Application Lifecycle Management: Experience in managing the lifecycle of industrial digital applications, including development, deployment, maintenance, and support.

o Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret and utilize manufacturing data for process optimization and decision-making.

o Manufacturing Data and Applications: Experience working with data acquisition and analysis tools relevant to Industry 4.0 applications in cement manufacturing (preferred) or similar process industries (e.g., sensor data analysis for predictive maintenance). Familiarity with cement manufacturing software and automation systems (preferred) or similar process industry software and automation systems.

o Proficiency in:

o Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data analysis)

o Project management tools (for planning and tracking)

o Presentation software (for clear and concise communication)


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in project management and Industry 4.0, with a focus on process industry.

• Strong understanding of agile project management methodologies.

• Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
