Our leading OTT/Video global client is looking for an experienced Software Developer to work as part of their high level Engineering team.

Responsibilities

Requirement analysis, designing developing and implementing various features on Origin Server platform. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to others clearly.

Skills

- 7 years of experience in software industry as a Software Developer or a similar role.- Strong background in Video domain for Video streaming delivery over OTT and/or IPTV platform and DRM.- Strong expertise in Linux based Application Development (Linux servers and storage architectures)- In depth knowledge and deep expertise in working with MPEG Transport Stream, Video/Audio codecs (H.264/H.265) and other related standards, ABR streaming protocols – HLS, DASH and Smooth Streaming, Just-in-Time OTT Packaging (fmp4, CMAF) and Digital Rights Management, Web/Origin Servers and HTTP standards.- Senior level hands-on experience in the development of large scale, distributed high-performance application servers in C/C++.- Familiarity with Microservices based architectures.- Working experience on Agile/Scrum Methodologies
