We are looking for a QA AutomationEngineer to join our team of IT professionals. In this role youwill be suggesting ideas for automated software test procedures.Besides you will be highlighting problem areas and tracking bugsthat hinder software installation.You will alsobe designing and installing software databases. As a QA AutomationEngineer you will be liaising with the Developers and ProjectManagers to identify and test key features of software programs.Apart from testing you should be able to develop wellplanned andstructured test plans/cases.You will beinvestigating the causes of nonconforming software programs. Youshould be detailoriented and possess excellent troubleshootingabilities. If you have a strong technical background and canstreamline all testing activities then we would love to have you onboard.Responsibilities

Planningand prioritizing testingactivitiesCoordinatingwith the Design team to discuss verificationprotocolsHelping identifyweaknesses and problem areas in the softwareapplicationSuggestingautomated software testproceduresTrackingsoftware bugs and investigating thecausesPointing outproblem areasPreparingautomationscriptsCommunicating withthe QA Engineer to implement softwareapplicationsDesigning andhandling the installation of softwaredatabasesTroubleshootingautomation softwareissuesCoordinating withthe System Analyst to finalize systemproceduresCreating testplans and casesPreparingdetailed test reportsPrioritizing andexecuting testsReviewingtechnical specifications and design documentsConducting regressiontesting whenneededMonitoringassurance metrics and processresultsRequirements

Bachelorsdegree in Software Engineering Computer Science InformationTechnology orrelatedPrevious workexperience as a QA Engineer QA Tester or relevant position in theIT departmentCompleteunderstanding of automation systems anddatabasesKnowledge ofprogramming languages like JavaScript HTML andCSSBasic knowledge ofscripting and other relatedproceduresExpertise inautomation testing tools like Selenium Katalon Studio andCucumberUnderstanding oftesting protocolsKnowhowof different types of testing methods like white box and black boxtestingFamiliarity withthe software developmentprocessGood analyticaland troubleshootingskillsAttention todetailStrongcommunicationskillsAbility to workcollaborativelyAbility tomanage project deadlinesGood time management andorganizationalskills
