Role Description
This is an exciting time in TransUnion CIBIL. With investments in our people, technology and new business markets, we are redefining the role and purpose of a credit bureau.
TransUnion CIBIL has business interest in the complete lending journey of any Financial Institution. This includes – Engage (Prospecting), Acquire (Onboarding), Manage & Collect (Recover).
This particular role is the Sales Head of Debt Management (Collections) Solutions for the whole industry. This includes Large to mid Private Sector Banks, NFBCs, Fintechs, Public Sector Banks and long tail FIs in the country as well.
The role will be responsible for building long-term relationships with B2B clients and will play a key role in introducing Transunion CIBIL’s Solutions to the market. She/he will work closely with sales team (that manages B2B clients directly) to implement the three-year growth plan and own the revenue generation of the assigned line of products.
Roles & Responsibilities
1.Work closely with the head of the sales department for implementing strategies and ensuring adherence to the three-year growth plan for the assigned line of solutions
2. Responsible for overall business in collections/debt management with focus on lenders’ collection function.
3.Understand collections practices, challenges in the market landscape & determine required solution capabilities
4.Develop engagement plan and pursue business development engagements with executives of selected clients with focus on their collection strategy and goals
5.Define Business Unit strategies with adequate buffers to be able to achieve overall revenue targets for the team members
6.Provide Industry insights to the senior management regarding the latest trends in the Debt Management segment.
7.Understand and translate statistics to address client business problems and liaison with client’s technical, analytical and business teams to delivery teams to build and deliver custom solutions
8.Create a strong pipeline of potential customers and key markets that can be tapped to increase the outreach of the company
9.Maintain the sales velocity and momentum by maintaining quality client proposals, originate tactical and strategic business leads, build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
10.Research and understand clients’ expectations from the product and work with internal stakeholders to incorporate the needs in the offerings, thus ensuring a positive client experience
11.Keep the management updated of the sales progress by creating monthly / quarterly reports and forecasts
12.Develop and maintain the existing revenue streams and drive new revenue opportunities within the assigned line of products
13.Act as a role model for the team, mentor and coach them to create a strong resource pipeline for the company
Education & Skills -
1.Master’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing, finance or related field
2.15 or more years of management/ leadership experience in debt management / collections strategy, collections analytics, with flair for business development and management consulting
3.Ability to effectively develop relationships, engage, advice, and persuasively communicate with senior/ CXO stakeholders demonstrating real-time insight, flexibility and sound judgment
4.Program management, with the ability to own development of business pipeline and effectively coordinate internal resources and teams to maximize business conversion
5.Ability to travel at least 25% of the time and perform other duties as assigned
