Job Purpose:

To identify, develop, and close solar EPC projects within the state of Andhra Pradesh. The role involves building strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting compelling solutions to drive business growth. Additionally, the role requires strong government liaison skills to navigate complex regulatory processes and obtain necessary approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Client Acquisition:

Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and projects.

Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the target market, including government officials, utilities, and private sector clients.

Generate leads, qualify opportunities, and convert them into projects.

Prepare comprehensive and persuasive proposals, including technical and commercial aspects.

Conduct presentations to clients and address their concerns and queries.

Negotiate contracts and ensure favorable terms for the company.

Regulatory Compliance and Approvals:

NREDCAP Approval:

Assist in preparing and submitting NREDCAP applications.

Coordinate with NREDCAP authorities for timely approvals.

Grid Connectivity:

Coordinate with DISCOMs to obtain grid connectivity approvals.

Ensure compliance with grid connection standards and regulations.

Environmental Clearances:

Obtain necessary environmental clearances and permits.

Land Acquisition and Permissions:

Facilitate land acquisition and obtain land use conversion permissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent.

7+ years of experience in solar EPC sales and business development.

Strong understanding of the solar energy industry, market trends, and regulatory landscape in Andhra Pradesh.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.

Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.

Willingness to travel extensively within the state.

Strong government liaison skills to navigate complex regulatory processes and obtain necessary approvals.
