About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and energetic Content Creator & Editor to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for conceptualising, capturing, and editing compelling visual content (photos, videos, reels) that communicates the vibrant life and innovative programs of our school.

If you're someone who enjoys storytelling through visual mediums, stays updated on social media trends, and has a knack for turning simple moments into engaging content — we'd love to work with you

Responsibilities:

  • Capture photos & videos of school events, classroom activities, and behind-the-scenes moments for social media and campaigns.
  • Shoot and edit Instagram Reels, using tools like Canva, based on current trends and platform guidelines.
  • Edit photos and design marketing content, such as event posters, stories, banners, and newsletter snippets.
  • Collaborate with school leadership & social media team to brainstorm creative content ideas.
  • Maintain consistency in brand tone, aesthetics, and messaging across all visuals.
  • Manage a content calendar and assist in scheduling uploads.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Canva for reel and poster editing. Bonus if you know Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing apps.
  • Basic photography & videography skills (using DSLR or high-end smartphone).
  • Strong understanding of Instagram Reels trends, audio usage, and storytelling style.
  • A creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quick turnarounds on content.
  • Excellent time management & coordination skills.

Candidate Expectations:

  • Should be comfortable capturing content in a school environment.
  • Available during school hours, especially during key events or shoots.
  • Must have a portfolio or sample work (reels/graphics/photo edits).
  • Open to learning, taking feedback, and adapting style as per brand vision.
  • Passion for education, youth culture, or storytelling is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Students/recent graduates from fields like Mass Communication, Media Studies, Visual Arts, Digital Marketing, or related.
  • Prior internship or freelance work in social media content creation.
