Customized Energy Solutions (CES), a privately-held company, is a leading service provider of market intelligence and operational support services to companies participating in the retail and wholesale electric and natural gas markets. Utilizing deep know-how developed since the inception of the deregulated energy markets, CES provides accurate & timely analysis on regulatory changes, market opportunities, and operational efficiencies for electricity and natural gas commodities.
We started our India operations as Customized Energy Solutions India Pvt. Ltd in 2010. CES India primarily focuses on emerging technologies that are disrupting energy industry. Energy storage, electric mobility, wholesale electricity markets, microgrids and renewable energy are the key areas of focus for the consulting arm of CES India, also known as, Emerging Technologies (ET).
Battery testing services, Emerging Technologies (ET) consulting services, energy trading services and India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) are the key businesses operated by CES India.

Job Description
This is a leadership role to drive the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) and create a robust ecosystem to drive the growth of IESA membership and enhance the services, engagement, and drive the industry. Key responsibilities are:
To drive IESA’s growth and members community to make India as a global leader in emerging technology areas like energy storage, electric mobility, and green hydrogen. Facilitate the support to government officials in policy advocacy and member organisations in their business growth. Understand the top & bottom lines of the business with an eye on IESA member retention and member growth. Envisioning the future of the market and initiating appropriate initiatives & activities to help IESA member companies. Making as a leading global organization with a combination of think-tanks, industry associations, and market research. Drive the global partnership with IEA, UN, IEA, IRENA, COP, G20, WEF and similar organizations. Will act as IESA. take pride in work, and measure results (your own and our clients). Establish common work processes and tracking mechanisms across business units for projects/ programs performance metrics/dashboards. Planning and coordination with team members, vendors, partners, and industry stakeholders. Active participation in stakeholder management. Planning IESA strategic growth and establishing synergy and driving collaboration between different business units to deliver increased value to the organization. Keeping a watch in global energy and clean tech transition Representing organization at national and international levels (conferences, seminar, meetings, events) Able to discuss with CXOs to explore new business opportunities and mentor business leaders to build capabilities, and benchmark industry best practices and technologies for speeding up overall IESA development. Develop a business continuity plan to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
Masters with a minimum 8-10 years of experience and relevant 5 years of experience managing associations, alliances, partnerships, think tanks, agencies etc. Sound technical knowledge on clean energy & clean transport space preferred Strong leadership ability Self-driven, passionate and out-of-the-box thinker. Excellent time management skills Excellent communication skills- writing and verbal communication Great interpersonal and presentation skills
