StartupNow is building a global mentor network to empower founders across industries — from AI, Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Defence, FinTech, Agritech and beyond. We believe that while capital builds companies, mentorship builds founders.
As part of our mission, we are seeking experienced professionals to join us as Startup Mentors and guide the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Role Overview
As a Startup Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting early-stage and growth-stage founders by offering insights, strategic guidance, and real-world experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to a global initiative that’s shaping the future of entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities
- Mentor startup founders in your area of expertise (AI, Defence, BioTech, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Share knowledge on strategy, fundraising, scaling, leadership, and market entry
- Participate in structured mentoring sessions (virtual and in-person where possible)
- Provide constructive feedback on business models, pitches, and go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate with the StartupNow team to strengthen the global mentor ecosystem
- Optionally contribute to events, workshops, and community discussions
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience (entrepreneur, operator, investor, or domain expert)
- Proven track record of building, scaling, or advising startups/enterprises
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
- Ability to commit a few hours monthly for mentoring sessions
- Passion for supporting founders and contributing to a global ecosystem
