As a Senior Network Engineer within our Managed Service team, you will play a crucial role in designing and documenting solutions across multiple networks. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure end-to-end traffic flows according to client requirements, with a strong focus on firewall switching and routing solution design.


Responsibilities:


Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with the client’s Network Security Architect to develop robust solutions.
  • Document network designs and configurations to meet client needs.


Troubleshooting:

  • Manage and resolve network issues reported by other IT groups.
  • Work dynamically under pressure to address incidents and outages in a complex network environment spanning various technology areas.


Operational Projects:

  • Assist in enhancing operational processes within the organization.
  • Efficiently manage your time between operational tasks and project work.


About You:


You are an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a minimum of 10 years in networking roles. Your expertise lies in switching and routing, and you possess the following qualities:


  • Excellent Communication: You can effectively convey technical information to stakeholders.
  • CCIE Certification: You hold a CCIE certification or equivalent.
  • Routing and Switching Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of routing and switching technologies.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You prioritize customer service and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Time Management: You efficiently handle business-as-usual tasks while contributing to operational projects.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You can quickly analyze data and present effective solutions.
  • Flexibility: You adapt well to changing requirements.
