Job description & Summary:

• Preparation and Top side/detail review of complex partnership, corporation returns and SCorporation returns prepared by staff/senior Financial Services – Private Equity,Hedge Funds and Fund of Funds

• Resolve queries recognized by Staff/Senior on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes.

• Identify international filing requirement by Org chart study and review international tax returns.

• Train existing/new joiners on concepts,technology and share timely feedback for each of the project reviewed.

• Assist in hiring as and when need arise to place potential candidates.

• Assist leadership team with analyzing the data and provide insights to help them to navigate the plan.

• Have a regular connect with aligned professionals to discuss about potentials opportunities for growth of the business and team members.

• Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution,and completion.

• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.

• Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.

• Promote new ideas and services by applying knowledge of the industry/sector s to create value for clients.

• Enabling the team towards achieving organizational goals.

• Participate in engagement resourcing and planning.

• Perform Root Cause Analysis for any feedback received from engagement teams.

• Ability to share real time feedback to foster continuous development within the team.

• Facilitate Trainings and help in developing training materials for technical topics.

• Participate in the performance evaluation of their respective span as PCL.

• Help team members from their respective Span to achieve organizational level goals.

Responsibilities Includes, but not Limited to:

• Assisting clients with life events for Financial Services Returns
• Assisting on variety of tax issues
• Preparation and Review of Returns
• Able to do tax research independently.
• Training the staff.
• Maintains quality and meet client deadlines.
• Build working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S. colleagues.

Experience Required:

• Ability to do independent tax research in case of unseen tax scenarios.
• Good Communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Ready to learn new tax software.
• Quick learner, enthusiastic, positive demeanor and a team player
• Ready to work long hours during busy season times.
• Able to meet the deadlines and work based on the urgency of the projects.
• Good at multi-tasking and handling various projects simultaneously in an efficient manner.
• Good at training and supervising staff and getting the work done in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to guide subordinates through the technical problems they face.
• Should be able to build working relationships with peers, supervisors and U.S colleagues

Position Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), IRS Enrolled Agent.
• Experience in detail review of tax returns
• Knowledge of CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, Case ware
• Relevant Experience more than 5+ years with major experience into Financial Services Returns
