Job Description
My client, an international holding company with leading brands in the FMCG sector is seeking a Senior NPD & Strategy Manager whose main objective will be to collaborate with Management in setting business goals, analyse reports and information, industry developments, competition activity and identify potential business and new product opportunities. 
Other Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provide analytical support to formulate plans and development of long-term organizational strategy 
  • Identify strategic opportunities to drive the business forward 
  • Monitor business performance by preparing and updating reporting templates to track business plan execution 
  • Analyze data from internal and external sources, prepare insights and provide actionable recommendations to guide key senior executives in their decision-making process 
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve overall commercial strategy of the business 
  • Research and monitor customer behaviour/ attitude, industry developments, global successes, and competition activity to identify potential new product opportunities 
  • Work with R&D, Marketing & Management to evaluate feasibility of new ideas, and drive innovation across current and new platforms 
  • Manage and coordinate product development projects, progress of NPD milestones, timeliness of launches and adequate preparedness across functions for launch date. 
  • Be a key stakeholder in the entire product lifecycle including multi-phase testing, insight gathering, formula alteration, commercial production, and launch.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy or business development /intelligence unit of FMCG/ Retail/ Manufacturing business
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and contributing to the bottom line.
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach in putting together deliverables 
  • Strong understanding and experience of generating insights, understanding consumer behavior, market trends and competitor intelligence 
  • Adept at project management and in-market execution
  • A passion for creating solutions and continuous improvement 
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects and cross-functional teams
  • A forward-thinking mindset, proactive and invested in the future
