SUMMARY
As a RealPage business analyst, you will help create, maintain, and grow our multifamily SaaS product offerings and integration capabilities. You will play the role of a product owner and act as a liaison between the Business & Technical teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Breakdown of features into stories and acceptance criteria
Scrum team backlog creation/refinement
Product documentation for current featured
Demos (internal or external, as needed)
Analyze & triage product maintenance issues
Day-to-day support to scrum team
Requirement Discovery
Work with PMs in understanding customer needs Elaborate requirements into epics/features/User stories in requirements mgmt tool Groom Requirements with Engineering & UX Teams Work with UX in ensuring that UX mockups are available before the start of the PI Get User Stories Signoff from PM/Dev/QA Prioritize Epics/User Stories
Release readiness
Perform UAT of the features developed before approving release Demo features to PMs/Directors and get their acceptance Work with technical writing teams to ensure product documentation is available before the release. Record feature demos for consumption of external team Assist PMs in preparing technical product enablement materials.
Sprint Ceremonies
Prioritize User Stories for a specific Sprint Ensure requirements are understood by Dev teams Review test cases for the User stories Attend Sprint Demos and accept User Stories Manage requirements change during a sprint Help in Bug triage arising out of Dev/QA work
Product Quality
Regular meetings with implementation & Support teams to understand areas of improvement Triage Support issues (PME) Prioritize Bugs for development in each sprint with the help of Customer Support team Convert PME's that are product enhancements to user stories
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
A bachelor’s degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Product Owner.
Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Ability to demonstrate product capabilities to a varied audience.
Experience with at least one user interface design tool.
Experience with SAFe Agile and Scrum
SME on the product/Industry/Domain
Technical writing skills, technical background
Master storyteller and story mapper
Analytical and decisive; balance technical innovation, technical debt, ongoing support
