Java Test Engineer - CREQ189902 Description Overview:As a Java Engineer specializing in Test Automation, you will be responsible for developing robust test automation frameworks and writing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the testing and development teams to implement effective testing strategies and accelerate the delivery of high quality software.Configure and manage automated test execution within continuous integration and delivery environments using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or TeamCity.Monitor test results and troubleshoot test failures to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.Collaborate with development teams to ensure test automation aligns with code changes and integrates seamlessly into the CI/CD process.Test Coverage and Reporting:Track and report test coverage metrics to ensure sufficient coverage of critical functionality and features.Generate test execution reports and documentation for stakeholders, summarizing test results and findings.Work with the testing team to prioritize and address identified defects and issues.Code Review and Best Practices:Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of test automation code.Promote best practices for test automation development, including coding standards, design patterns, and testing methodologies.Mentor junior team members on test automation best practices and technologies.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in Java development, with a focus on test automation.Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks and libraries.Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, or similar tools.Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or TeamCity.Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile development environment.Primary Location Pune, Maharashtra, India Job Type Experienced Primary Skills Maven Years of Experience 6 Qualification
