Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a

Staff QA Engineer (Automation)

to join Procore’s QA Engineering Team in India. In this role, you will design and execute software testing plans for various key customer-facing and internal applications. You should be self-motivated, creative, and proactive, ready to work successfully in a fast-paced environment, including multiple platforms and a distributed architecture, diverse technologies, and lab environments. You will work closely with developers, project managers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.This position reports into the

Senior QA Manager

and will be based in our

Bengaluru

&

Pune

offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.What you’ll do:Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleDesign and execute test cases (both manual and automation)Verify that the implemented software meets the business requirementsSuggest functionality improvements based on usability standardsReview requirements documents in terms of consistency, completeness, and correctness.Conduct post-release / post-implementation testingWhat we’re looking for:5+ years of experience in software test engineering or equivalent roleSelf-driven problem-solver with demonstrable critical thinking skillsThorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principlesExperience developing test automation frameworks, particularly in Cypress and JavaScriptProficiency in building automation scripts, debugging, execution, and results analysisAnalytical skills to understand requirements, application user interfaces, and contentsProven knowledge and experience in various test levels (e.g., system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance)Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent troubleshooting skillsExperience in API testing and prior exposure to Test Driven Development is a plus
