GC-MS & ICP-OES Analyst - QC Analytical Chemist GC-MS & ICP-OES Analyst - QC Analytical Chemist Seeking: GC-MS & ICP-OES Analyst - QC Analytical Chemist - QC Chemist Location: South Eastern Suburbs (near Clayton) Industry: Pharmaceutical Benefits: Work with an experienced team who you can learn from Large Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Scientific Laboratory Environment Training and development opportunities Career progression opportunities Work close to home Free Parking Day to Day Responsibilities: Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products by GC & ICP Review analytical data Perform out of specification investigations Data entry General laboratory housekeeping Maintaining consumable item stock levels To be successful, we are looking for the following: 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role A formal qualification in chemistry or a related discipline Demonstrable experience in the use of data management software Agilent OpenLab CDS (2.6) software to run a sequence, launch data analysis, process/review data and proficiency in creating custom calculations in the custom calculator. Ideally, the successful candidate should have GMP/GLP experience and worked with the Agilent 7697a Headspace or similar, 8890/7890 GC or similar and 5977B single quadrupole MSD or similar. Strong attention to detail A clear understanding of chemical safety A clear understanding of good laboratory practices The ability to work both autonomously and in a team Excellent communication skills Effective time management skills A working knowledge of standard office applications such as MS Word and Excel It will also be beneficial, but not essential, for you to have Experience in Waters instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenanceIf this is the next role that you're looking for, please submit your resume and cover letter addressing why you are suitable for this role.
