As a 2D Animator & Video Creator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, fully animated videos for our YouTube channel. This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of creative and technical skills. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conceptualising and creating full 2D animated videos based on scripts and concepts provided by our team.
  • Designing and animating 2D characters, backgrounds, and scenes.
  • Integrating provided voice-overs and scripts into the animation.
  • Adding music, sound effects, and transitions to enhance the final video.
  • Editing and compositing all video elements to create a polished and final product.
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure the style and vision align with the channel's brand.
  • Meeting a consistent deadline for video delivery.
  • Creating highly engaging thumbnails.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Expertise in industry-standard animation software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of animation (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, etc.).
  • Excellent creative and storytelling abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with a remote team.
