Job Title: AWS Engineer

Experience: 5-8years

Location: Remote

Mode: Contract 6 month + ext.

We're looking for an AWS Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to develop and maintain scalable data processing pipelines. This hands-on role involves optimizing AWS data solutions, collaborating with senior engineers, and contributing to high-performance architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines: You'll develop and optimize data processing workloads using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Athena. Your work will be crucial in ensuring these solutions are efficient and performant.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code: You'll use AWS CDK to define and deploy infrastructure in an automated manner, streamlining development and deployment processes.
  • Manage Data Architectures: You'll work with the AWS Lakehouse to manage structured and semi-structured data. This includes assisting in building serverless architectures for both batch and streaming data processing.
  • Collaborate and Improve: You'll work closely with senior engineers and architects to continuously improve the performance and scalability of the data systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • AWS Cloud Services: You must have strong experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, Athena, and Lakehouse.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in AWS CDK is a must.
  • Programming: You should be proficient in at least one of these languages: Python, Pyspark, Spark SQL, Typescript, Scala, or Java.
  • Data Expertise: You need solid experience with data lakes and data warehousing on AWS.

Good to Have

  • Streaming: Experience with real-time data streaming technologies like Firehose, Kinesis, or Kafka.
  • Apache Iceberg: Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg for data lake management.
  • NoSQL: Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹150, ₹170,000.00 per month
