Copywriter intern

We are looking for a creative and motivated copywriter intern with a twisted sense of humour, to join our newly formed but experienced team

This is a 3-month paid internship with an opportunity for a full-time role after the said period.

Näck is an e-commerce startup in the fast-growing health and supplement space in India. We are a Swedish-Indian company started by an experienced team of entrepreneurs and nutraceutical experts. Our head office is in Delhi, India, but a big part of our team works from Stockholm, Sweden.

As a nutraceutical company, Näck aspires to make supplements a part of people's daily routines - while keeping it easy and rewarding for all to make conscious decisions on their way towards achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Our aim is to simplify the modern wellness movement, make the often overwhelming, and complex world of health and nutrition simple and fun. We all deserve products we can rely on, but in an industry filled with magic pills, false claims and made up labels, - trust is a scarcity. As corny as it may sound, we are here to set things straight, to deliver the naked truth.

The Role:

As a Copywriter Intern, you will play a crucial role in communicating the benefits and values of our clean supplements to our audience. You will support our marketing and creative teams by crafting compelling copy that resonates with our brand language (fun, witty, clever and relaxed) for various media, including digital, print, and social media platforms. You will work closely with our team to understand brand voice, target audience, and marketing goals to produce content that engages and drives action. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice for various channels, including website content, email campaigns, social media posts, new products and other promotional activities.

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm ideas and messaging strategies.

• Edit and proofread copy to ensure it is free of errors and aligns with brand guidelines.

• Conduct research to understand the industry landscape, target audience 

preferences, and current trends to inform your writing.

• Assist in the measurement and analysis of content performance to refine and improve future copy.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a bachelor's degree program in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an ability to convey complex health and wellness concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.

• A passion for wellness, nutrition, and clean living, with a desire to learn more about the supplement industry.

• Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into engaging and persuasive copy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Good to haves:

• Knowledge of the wellness and supplement industry 
• Understanding of how copy varies across different mediums, including product descriptions, social media, and advertising, and ability to adapt tone and style accordingly.
• Basic understanding of SEO and marketing principles are a plus.

Learning Opportunities:
