Job Title: Principal Consultant (Oracle Database)Work Location: Anywhere in India

About the Role:

The Oracle CSS Applications developer is an experienced technical professional, who has an understanding of business solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, and technology designs within the Oracle Applications supporting products and technologies. The candidate should have experience in the implementation or support of large to medium Oracle Applications implementation projects.

He or She should be able to operate independently to provide quality work products and perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment.

You will be working as an experienced consulting professional in Oracle Database who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family.Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.Effectively consults with management of customer organizations.Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

Experience 8 to 15 years of work experience in Oracle database technologies.Qualification Any Degree (However BE/B. Tech/MCA/BCA would be preferred).Capacity planning, designing, and implementation of enterprise solutions using Oracle Database Technology.Experience in Oracle Database Administration 12C,18c,19c.DB Architecture experience in Oracle 12c,18c,19c.RMAN backup and recovery solutions.  RAC Implementation.  Golden Gate replication.Experience in managing Oracle DB on OCI.  Experience in Exadata / ExaCC.Oracle Database migrations to OCI ( DB Systems, ADW).Working knowledge in Oracle cloud IaaS.Work experience in Unix Shell scripting, Virtualization & Automation.

Additional Qualifications:

BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.Oracle OCP DBA / OCI / ADB Certification - Preferred.Some travel may be required (10-25%)

Desired Skills:

OCI Certification Foundation / Architect/professional is an added advantage.Willingness to Travel both domestic or out of the country.
