Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and ensure alignment with cloud capabilities.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

Cloud Platform Management :

- Manage and optimize cloud environments, ensuring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and features to leverage new capabilities.

Deployment Automation :

- Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for deploying applications and services in the cloud.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement security best practices to secure cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Monitoring and Logging :

- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to track the health and performance of cloud resources.

- Implement centralized logging for effective troubleshooting and auditing.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions.

- Participate in cross-functional teams to align cloud infrastructure with overall business goals.

Resource Optimization :

- Optimize cloud resources to achieve cost efficiency and performance improvements.

- Analyze and recommend improvements to existing cloud architecture.

Disaster Recovery and High Availability :

- Design and implement disaster recovery plans and ensure high availability of cloud-based applications.

Documentation :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar).

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.

- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture.

- Previous experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud solutions.
