We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years+ of experience in the EdTech sector, specializing in selling certification courses to Corporates and Enterprises. This role involves inside sales and extensive travel across India.

Key Responsibilities: New Business Development:

Identify, target, and acquire new clients to meet sales goals and expand the company’s market presence. Prospecting & Client Acquisition:

Proactively seek and engage potential clients through cold calls, networking, and participation in industry events. Sales Strategy:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new clients and secure additional business. Client Relationship Management:

Build and nurture lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations. Presentations & Demos:

Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits and value of upGrad's offerings. Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Lead negotiations and close deals to consistently exceed sales targets. Market Awareness:

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer support) to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. Reporting:

Regularly update leadership on sales activities, pipeline progress, and target achievement.

Key Skills: Strong prospecting and hunting skills, with the ability to identify and engage potential clients effectively. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Capable of understanding and articulating complex solutions to address client needs. Proven track record of managing the entire sales cycle from strategy to closing. Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
