Job Overview We are seeking an experienced General Manager for Plant Operations to join our executive team at Gamut HR Solutions in Hyderabad. This full-time position requires 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. The selected candidate will oversee plant operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in line with organizational goals. Qualifications and Skills Proven expertise in operations management with a history of successful plant operations oversight (Mandatory skill). Strong background in supply chain management to optimize logistics and reduce inefficiencies (Mandatory skill). Ability to execute risk management strategies to identify and mitigate operational risks (Mandatory skill). Experience in strategic planning to define and implement long-term business goals effectively. Demonstrated team leadership skills in managing, mentoring, and inspiring large teams for peak performance. Competency in budgeting to manage financial resources efficiently, achieving cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. Proficient in quality control to maintain and improve product quality in compliance with industry standards. Capability in process improvement to enhance systems and methods, promoting operational excellence. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the smooth functioning of plant operations. Oversee supply chain management to streamline processes and manage efficient logistics flows. Formulate risk management policies to prevent and manage potential operational challenges. Lead a team of professionals fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment. Monitor and manage the budget, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are optimally utilized. Establish and enforce quality control standards to meet and exceed customer and regulatory expectations. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives and meet production targets.
