MDM and Data Governance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain MDM processes and systems for consistent master data.
  • Manage master data lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Gather MDM requirements and collaborate with IT for implementation.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and standards.
  • Implement data quality metrics and methodologies, ensuring compliance.
  • Execute data cleansing and enrichment processes.
  • Support stakeholders, provide training on data governance and MDM.
  • Collaborate on data strategy and policy implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to global MDM standards and requirements.
  • Facilitate governance with data owners to maintain consistency.
  • Cultivate a culture of data quality and governance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Recommend and implement MDM process improvements.
  • Lead or participate in data governance committees.
     

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in data management, MDM, and data governance roles is an added advantage (typically 5+ years, but flexible based on relevant skills and experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of data structures, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Good understanding of MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
