Job Title: IBG Credit Portfolio Analytics
Job Purpose:
The role holder is expected to support IBG Head - IN in Credit & portfolio return of IBG Portfolio. The role also requires the holder to effectively support lending / credit related strategies and support the growth, development of the loan book in line with IBG business strategy.
Job Duties & responsibilities
1. Providing value-add recommendations and knowledge/expertise through the lenses of profitability, relationship strategy, deal structuring and balance sheet allocation to IBG Head.
2. Responsible for credit portfolio analytics including RWA management.
3. Support and liaise with the RMs / other stakeholders including regional office for credit related process including execution and implementation of IBG related credit projects & initiatives such as TMRAC’s, Lending Guidelines, etc
4. Proactively looking for ways to streamline and improve the GLOW process for coverage teams, and ensuring regular training for new incumbents or refresher training
5. Tracking of committed or best-efforts primary syndication and churn of secondary loan sell down to ensure targeted balance sheet velocity.
6. Ad hoc Projects
Preparing of adhoc risk committee related presentation, audit presentation decks. etc for IBG Head
Briefing the outcome of stress testing activities to IBG Head prior to Credit Committee Meetings or Risk Exco meetings.
Qualifications :
MBA with 8- 12 years of experience
Core Competencies:-
Extensive experience in IBG Client Coverage/ RMG/ Lending Product expertise, notably with evidence of managing/ understanding of leading/structuring of credit transactions
Collaborative approach as evidenced by internal network of colleagues across BU & RMG
Ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities given balance of Credit approvers/ Committee approvals and Client’s requirement/ urgency.
Confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong efficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Highly motivated, eager to accept new challenges and able to work under pressure.
