Salesforce Data Cloud

Job Base Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Noida.

Experience: 7-9Years


Job Description:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role.
  3. Marketing Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
  4. Data Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), data integration, data modeling, and data management practices.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SQL, and AMPscript.
  6. Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirement, analysis, design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
  7. Experience in source control tool like Git
  8. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  9. Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  10. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in developing and customizing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Data Cloud certifications, or other relevant Salesforce certifications.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Cloud Development: Design and implement marketing automation workflows, email campaigns, customer journeys, and other Marketing Cloud functionalities.
  2. Data Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage data integrations, data modeling, and data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly known as Salesforce CDP).
  3. Customization: Customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud components, including AMPscript, SQL queries, and API integrations to meet business needs.
  4. Integration: Integrate Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud with other Salesforce modules and third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  5. Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing.
  6. Work on new development initiatives, as well as bug fixes and enhancements of the existing SFDC solutions.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into marketing performance and data trends.
  8. Testing and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing of Marketing Cloud campaigns and Data Cloud processes; optimize solutions for performance and scalability.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
  10. Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control.
  11. Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides.
  12. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions, addressing issues and implementing improvements as needed.
