Middle School Teacher Position Type Teaching Commence Date 19 Jan 2026 to 11 Dec 2026 Employment Status Fixed Term / Contract FTE/Hours per week Full Time Year Levels Middle Role Details St Joseph’s School, Clare, is seeking a passionate, dedicated Middle School educator, with experience in Maths and Science and who understands the unique nature of adolescents. Additional experience in enrichment subjects (eg: Drama, Technologies, Food Tech, and/or Arts) is highly desirable. This is a contracted, full-time 1.0FTE teaching position, commencing at the beginning of the 2026 school year until the end of 2026. Incentives are available for working in the country, including relocation expenses and additional NIT for graduate teachers. The school community is welcoming, supportive, dedicated and professional. There are many tourist attractions close by including wineries and bushwalks. About You: Demonstrate an understanding of current middle years (7-9) Pedagogy Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity, faith formation and Josephite Charism of the school and parish community Design inclusive learning programs with a high emphasis on student engagement, inquiry, active learning and creativity Plan, teach and assess authentic and differentiated learning experiences using the Australian Curriculum and Crossways Be familiar with emerging information and communication technologies and be willing to integrate ICTs across the curriculum to support student learning Promote student personal responsibility through an ability to make children's learning fun and enjoyable Develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents Be willing to participate in all aspects of school life Are you following us on LinkedIn & Facebook?
