Job Overview

As an Entry-Level Architect or AutoCAD Drafter, you'll collaborate with senior architects and engineers to transform design concepts into detailed technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between initial design ideas and actual construction plans.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Design: Create precise 2D and 3D architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects and engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.

Documentation: Assist in preparing construction documents, including material specifications and schedules.

Site Analysis: Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure designs align with site conditions and regulations.

Revisions: Update drawings based on feedback and ensure compliance with building codes and standards.

Software Utilization: Utilize AutoCAD and potentially Revit or BIM tools to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit or BIM is a plus.

Experience: While prior experience is not mandatory, internships or academic projects involving AutoCAD are advantageous.

Certifications: Autodesk Certified User (ACU) certification is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to interpret and create detailed technical drawings and specifications.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and compliance standards.
