Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Twid Rewards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in daily accounting tasks, taxation compliance, payroll management, addressing employee reimbursement and tax queries, coordinating with auditors for statutory audit, and overseeing monthly closing of books of accounts.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform daily accounting activities using Cloud Tally ERP, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Manage all aspects of taxation compliance, including TDS, GST, PF, and ESIC. Prepare working papers, file returns, conduct reconciliations, and revise returns as necessary.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including salary calculation, deductions, and statutory compliances. Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries to employees.
  • Address employee queries related to reimbursement and taxation, providing guidance and assistance as required.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audit, providing necessary documentation and support throughout the audit process.
  • Lead the monthly closing process of books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance function.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience of 2+year in accounting, taxation, and payroll management, with hands-on experience in Cloud Tally ERP.

Strong understanding of taxation regulations including TDS, GST, PF, and ESIC.

Experience in coordinating with auditors for statutory audit.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Experience in Payment/FIntech Industry will be a plus
