Overview: TheAutomation Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring thequality and reliability of our software products. They areresponsible for designing implementing and executing automated testscripts to validate the functionality of various softwareapplications. The role is essential in maintaining the highstandards of our software products and delivering exceptional userexperiences to our clients.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop andmaintain automated test scripts using appropriate automationtools
  • Execute test scripts analyze results andreport defects
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to identify test requirements
  • Conductregression testing to ensure the stability of softwareapplications
  • Participate in product designreviews to provide input on testability of functionalrequirements
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of the automation framework and testprocesses
  • Identify and implement opportunitiesfor test automation
  • Participate in theevaluation and selection of automation tools andtechnologies
  • Document test plans test cases andtest results
  • Work closely with developers toresolve testing problems
  • Adhere to qualityassurance best practices and standards
  • Provideinput into the release criteria
  • Stay updatedwith industry best practices and technologies in testautomation
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysisof issues
  • Contribute to a culture of innovationand teamwork
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or relatedfield
  • Proven experience in automated testing ofweb and mobile applications
  • Proficiency inprogramming languages such as Java Python orC#
  • Strong understanding of software testingmethodologies and best practices
  • Experiencewith test automation tools such as Selenium Appium orTestComplete
  • Ability to write clear concise andcomprehensive test plans and testcases
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshootingskills
  • Knowledge of continuous integration anddelivery principles
  • Familiarity with versioncontrol systems such as Git
  • Strong analyticaland problemsolving abilities
  • Capability to workeffectively in a fastpaced and dynamicenvironment
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Certifications in softwaretesting or test automation is aplus
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies isadvantageous
