Job Description/Role & Responsibilities
:
- Develop custom reports, enhancements, forms (SmartForms, SAPScript), and interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs)
- Design and maintain 3rd party system integrations and workflow-based processes
- Optimise code for performance and maintainability
- Participate in agile development cycles and design reviews
- Take end-to-end ownership of SAP technical solutions
- Represent technical solutions clearly to business and functional teams
Required skill sets:
- Core ABAP Programming (Reports, Dialogs, Module Pool) and ABAP Debugging, Performance Tuning, and Code Optimization
- Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements), Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
- Proficiency in classical and object-oriented ABAP
- Strong experience in workflows, interface programming, and data conversions (ALE/IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services)
- ECC 6.0 development experience in manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate independently with minimal supervision
Good to Have:
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA development frameworks (CDS Views, AMDP, RAP)
- SAP ABAP certification
- Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 and Gateway services
