Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an IP D at Med-Metrix, located in Chennai. The IP Drg Coders will be responsible for overseeing and managing inpatient coding and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Daily tasks include reviewing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and conducting audits to maintain the highest standards of documentation and revenue cycle management.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in inpatient coding and medical record documentation
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and on-site in Chennai
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field is an advantage
