About the Role:
Techoftheday Academy is seeking a creative, passionate, and skilled Visual Design Trainer to educate and inspire aspiring designers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions focused on graphic design principles, industry best practices, and essential tools. The position requires a solid understanding of design fundamentals, strong software proficiency, and the ability to guide students in creating impressive portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive sessions covering visual/graphic design, UI/UX fundamentals, branding, and layout design.
  • Teach industry-standard design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, and Canva.
  • Create and regularly update training materials, projects, and assignments suited to various learning levels.
  • Support students in building professional design portfolios and working on real-world projects.
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions to offer constructive feedback and skill development advice.
  • Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, integrating them into the training.
  • Evaluate student performance through practical assignments, quizzes, and reviews.
  • Work closely with the academic team to continually enhance the curriculum and delivery methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in visual design, graphic design, or UI/UX design (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong expertise in design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Prior experience in training, mentoring, or teaching is a plus.
  • Ability to simplify complex design concepts for beginner and intermediate learners.
  • Bachelor's degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
