Research Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst with a strong background in data analytics and research. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in analytics and 2 years in research, preferably within the EdTech industry. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, providing reports and actionable insights that drive growth and operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather industry and market insights, focusing on the EdTech landscape.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights that can influence strategic decisions.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive reports and dashboards that summarize findings, highlight insights, and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as Marketing, Product, and Sales) to address data needs, align on metrics, and optimize initiatives based on analytical findings.
- Develop and maintain databases and dashboards for ongoing tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Present research findings and insights to stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new analytics tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in data analytics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in research, preferably in the EdTech sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and survey methodologies is a plus.
