Job Title: Business Analyst/ Project Manager - ERP Projects
Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst cum Functional Project Manager to manage and deliver our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) projects across our organization. In this role, you will act as the liaison between business users and the technical team, gathering requirements, defining processes, and ensuring successful implementation of ERP solutions. You will also oversee the project management lifecycle, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery of ERP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis for ERP Projects:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for ERP system (Workday).
Conduct gap analysis between current business processes and ERP system capabilities to identify and recommend process improvements.
Develop process flow diagrams, use cases, and business process documentation related to ERP functionalities.
Assist in designing ERP solutions that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency.
Lead workshops and meetings to gather ERP-specific requirements and confirm project scope with stakeholders.
Support ERP system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Provide input on ERP data migration, integration, and report generation processes.
ERP Project Management:
Lead end-to-end project management of ERP implementations, upgrades, and customizations.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and key deliverables, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders and IT teams.
Create detailed project plans and work breakdown structures, managing the day-to-day activities of the ERP project team.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
Monitor project progress against milestones, budgets, and resources, and adjust as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
Conduct regular status updates and reports, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
Coordinate testing, training, and deployment activities to ensure smooth go-live and adoption of ERP solutions.
Job requirement:
MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
8-12 years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management, specifically with ERP implementations or upgrades.
Proven experience with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday (preferred) .Strong knowledge of ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, CRM.
Hands-on experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and functional documentation for ERP systems.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and ERP implementation lifecycle.
