Role & responsibilities

✅ Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

✅ Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs and utility maintenance

✅ Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

✅ Monitor equipment performance metrics and develop improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.

✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.

✅ Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

✅ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.

✅ Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and spare parts.

✅ Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices, recommending and implementing innovative solutions


Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is a must.

Proven experience of minimum 6 years in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance strategies, utilities and breakdowns

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Sound technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams.

Proficient computer skills for maintenance software, and reporting
