Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal consultant - Java and SQL
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate with expertise in Java development and SQL to join our team. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications, with a focus on database integration using SQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
 Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
 Implement database solutions using SQL, including database design, optimization, and querying.
 Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
 Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards.
 Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments, ensuring timely resolution.
 Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance existing systems and propose innovative solutions.
 Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their professional growth.
 Contribute to process improvements and participate in Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
 Proven experience as a Java developer, with proficiency in Java EE or Spring framework.
 Strong understanding of SQL and Java
 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

Preferred qualifications
 Banking / Capital Markets domain experience.
 Good Communication and leadership skills.
 Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
 Certifications in Java programming or database technologies.
 Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
