Job Description:

Coforge is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing complex systems, with a particular focus on Direct-to-Customer (D2C) products. The role demands a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Scenario Development:
  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios for complex system testing, ensuring thorough coverage for all aspects of Direct-to-Customer (D2C) products.
  1. Technical Analysis:
  • Identify design and product issues in newly developed features, providing valuable feedback to improve product quality and functionality.
  1. Learning and Adaptation:
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning complex systems with minimal guidance, quickly adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
  1. Mobile Testing:
  • Perform extensive testing of Native/Hybrid mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and platforms.
  1. Web Automation:
  • Utilize web automation tools such as Cypress and Nightwatch to automate testing processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in testing.
  1. Mobile Automation:
  • Leverage Appium for automating tests on mobile applications, focusing on continuous integration and delivery processes.
  1. Technical Tools Proficiency:
  • Use tools like Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting, and implement JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation and debugging.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
  1. Coding and Debugging:
  • Write clean and efficient code to automate the testing backlog, and effectively debug any failures encountered during the testing process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in mobile testing, specifically with Native and Hybrid apps.
  • Proficiency in web automation tools like Cypress or Nightwatch.
  • Experience with mobile automation using Appium.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk.
  • Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify potential issues in design and development.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and adapting to new challenges.
