Job Title: Teacher Mentor / Resource Person (Science / Maths )

Location: Anekal Block, Karnataka
Experience: 1 - 7 Years
Job Type: Full Time
Industry: NGO / Social Services / Education
Functional Area: Teaching / Education / Training
Education:

  • Postgraduate in Science (M.Sc), Mathematics (M.Sc), or English (MA)
  • B.Ed preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Mentor government school teachers to adopt experiential teaching methods in Science, Maths, or English
  • Identify gaps in student learning and provide feedback to the content development team
  • Conduct and co-facilitate teacher training programs at the Block and Cluster level
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders including HMs, CRPs, and BRPs
  • Conduct subject fairs involving teachers, students, and parents
  • Administer baseline and endline assessments for students and pre/post tests for teachers
  • Regularly prepare detailed reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Document best practices, success stories, photos, and videos
  • Coordinate with educational department offices and participate in reviews

Key Skills Required:

  • Passion for education and social change
  • Strong communication skills in Kannada and English
  • Knowledge of pedagogy in Science, Maths
  • Reflective thinking and emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Willingness to travel daily within Anekal Block to visit schools
