Aboutthe Role

As an Editorial ProjectManager you will be responsible for a wide and interesting range ofactivities around creating content for various customers andplatforms. You will take ownership for coordinating multipleprojects to ensure successful collaboration for content quality andpublication. You will provide advice and guidance to authorscontributors and editors to help them through the publicationprocess. The main task of the Editorial Project Manager is tomanage and develop all volumes in assigned series frompreproduction manuscript stage through final production stages toensure ontime publication of volumes.

Responsibilities
Managing multiple digital and print content projects thoughprepublication to publication to ensure effective and accuratemanagement and publication of print and digital assets
Collaborating with global crossfunctional teams authors editors andcontributors to solve problems and ensure successful ontime projectpublication
Building relationships with authorscontributors and editors to provide updates and guidance throughoutthe publication process to deliver an exceptional experience(through EMSS)
Creating and providing reports tocommunicate the progress of titles to Content Team ManagerAcquisitions Editors and Publishers
Communicatingproject statuses and updates to internal stakeholders to resolveissues and ensure quality and ontime publication

Requirements
Deliveringbudgeted titles on schedule using active monitoring
Communicating clearly with all stakeholders in writing and byphone
Resolving queries and problems quickly andcompletely
Reviewing manuscript components against achecklist
Tracking of all projects in purview andproactive problem solving
Tracking and update allmetadata pertaining to books in PPM/CCM
Show experienceof solving problems by implementing creative solutions that make adifference
Have excellent computer skills in MicrosoftOffice and the ability to learn new systems
