Position Overview
Annalect is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Technology team. We are seeking passionate individuals eager for personal and professional growth within our supportive and collaborative culture. In this role, you will be crucial in discovering and leveraging information in the Digital Media Planning industry to create product features that help our clients drive their sales and share and optimize performance of their media spend. Primary focus will be to develop product solutions, designs, and user experiences for new product features, creating and maintaining product roadmaps and KPI measurements for the product’s performance. Key Responsibilities:
Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage.
Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly. Research skills for analyzing market trends, competitor products and user-product interactions.
Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements.
Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
Assess and address technical risks.
Understand and analyze data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.
Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
Coordinate beta tests.
Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
Knowledge of how to design and execute product roadmaps. Own, prioritize, and manage the iteration backlog to ensure that the development team is clear on what to work on next.
Collaborate with Scrum Team on Story Mapping exercises to divide large features into incremental iterations that can be delivered
Provides feedback on the progress and issues to the Business Leadership and collaborate on identifying solutions to progress deficits.
Work with the Technology team to identify infrastructure investments, third-party technologies, and architectural enhancements.
Required Skills
Background in software development, engineering or another technical field.
Understanding of the product development process.
Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Thorough understanding of Agile processes, and a track record of working in an Agile environment
Ability to balance product development and design-specific responsibilities.
Highly detail-oriented and someone who loves creating and implementing Agile processes.
At least 10 - 12 years of experience in a software development related role, with at least 6 years in a Product Manager role – evidence of successful product delivery required.
Ability to work in an agile manner in a rapidly changing requirement environment.
Experience in managing third-party partnerships and driving success.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.
Organized: Must be able to manage deadlines and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks
Detail-oriented: Accuracy and attention to detail is very important in this position.
Analytical, evaluative, and likes to solve problems
