Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Audit Manager/Associate Director to lead audit teams, manage client engagements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive audit experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in a Big 4 or equivalent environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple audit engagements, ensuring high standards and compliance.
  • Mentor and develop audit staff, promoting a collaborative team culture.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide tailored audit solutions and insights.
  • Technical Excellence:
  • Stay current with industry and regulatory changes.
  • Apply technical expertise to complex audit issues.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control procedures.
  • Review audit work papers and reports.
  • Business Development:
  • Contribute to the growth of the audit practice.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years in audit, with 1-2 years in a leadership role within a Big 4 or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
